In 2011, Japan's iron ore import decreases

In 2011, Japan's iron ore import reached to 128.489 million tons which have decreased by 4.3 percent , while the average import prices have increased by 44.9 percent to USD 166.12/MT, both Y-O-Y. The major importing countries which are Australia of 80.219 million tons, Brazil of 36.665 million tons, South Africa of 4.636 million tons, India of 3.457 million tons and Chile of 1.357 million tons.
