Despite stable numbers for US stainless steel scrap over the past week, sources have reported very limited activity with no prospects for improvement. As values for input materials and the cutting of production from mills bring movement to a halt, figures are expected to dip further over the next week. US figures for stainless steel scrap 304 keep at USD0.67-0.72lb delivered. While numbers have been stable for the past week, a USD0.03lb decline has occurred since late July.
