Last week, Chinese leading stainless steel mill Taiyuan Iron & Steel Group announced to raise the stainless steel prices for November 2012 shipment.

Except the stainless steel heavy plates, TISCO hiked the price for most stainless steel products by CNY 100 to CNY 200 per tonne.

According to traders, also, the firm decided to increase its export prices by USD 50 per tonne for November 2012.

After the adjustment, the TISCO's base price of 304 2B 2mm and 430 2B 2mm are quoted at CNY 19,400 per tonne and CNY 10,200 per tonne, rising by CNY 200 per tonne and CNY 100 per tonne respectively.

Meanwhile, TISCO remained its prices of hot rolled stainless steel products unchanged for November 2012.
