The Board of Directors of Lanco Industries Limited has approved the proposal of changing the name of the Company, subject to the approval of shareholders. The shareholders have assented for changing the name of the Company from Lanco Industries Limited to Srikalahasthi Pipes Limited at the 22nd Annual General Meeting of the Company held on September 27th 2014. Subsequently, the Company has filed requisite form with Registrar of Companies, Andhra Pradesh seeking its approval and accordingly Registrar of Companies, Andhra Pradesh has issued fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated September 29th 2014 changing the name of the Company, pursuant to Rule 29 of the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014. The name of the Company has been changed from Lanco Industries Limited to Srikalahasthi Pipes Limited with effect from September 29th 2014. Source – Strategic Research institute, Steel Guru
