The Indian Foundry scrap prices are litterally in conused state as the US Market prices fell down and recovered. With little shipments being made for Indian ports ,with the downward productivity in bothe Steel and Foundry sectors, the prices were comming down but not as expected to be . The shortage of Scrap for Steel as the Imports are costing them high due to dollar to Re. fluctuations, the steeel scrap traders are un willing to reduce the prices hoping that the market will resurrect soon. Steel Scrap being sent across the country from down south to North and west helps the traders to retain the prices . The prices trend for the steel scrap is still confusing for most of the foundries for making the decisions on their final product costing.
