India's pig iron exports totaled 378,000 tonnes in January to April 2014, up 35.4% from the same period of 2013, averaging 94,000 tpm, when the cumulative exports translated into an annualized 1,130,000 tonnes. According to Indian trade statistics made available in Tokyo, of the total, South Korea took the largest quantity of 185,000 tonnes or 48.9%, down 0.4%; Thailand the second largest of 118,000 tonnes or 31.2%, up 13,998%; and Taiwan the third largest of 35,000 tonnes or 9.2%, up 226.2%.
