According to the report, the Indian Minister of Mines recently announced that India prepared to launch an auction process for about 100 key mineral blocks in the next four months to promote the domestic green energy transformation plan. These nuggets involve nickel, lithium, cobalt, platinum, rare metals, and other minerals. Indian Minister of Mines said the legal framework and blocks had been finalized and tenders were expected to close in December, with auctions likely to start three months later. The Indian government has reformed mining laws to allow private miners to search for critical minerals such as lithium to boost domestic mineral exploration. In addition, in order to encourage global miners to participate in the auction, the Indian government planned to subsidize half of the exploration costs.
