HZL raises zinc and lead prices

India Infoline reported that Hindustan Zinc Limited has increased the prices of zinc and lead for the second time in 3 days in line with the rise in global prices.

The Vedanta group company said that the price of zinc was raised by INR 1,000 per tonne or 1% to INR 96,800 per tonne. Zinc prices were hiked by 6% on July 23rd.

Lead, which the company also produces, was increased by INR 900 per tonne or 0.9% to INR 97,700.
