Nelcast plans expansion
Nelcast is plaanning investments of Rs 300 millions in expansion. The company's current turnover annually is Rs 4000 millions. The company plans to increase generate additional capacity to about 1.5 lakh tons per annum from about 1.25 lakh tons. The company is one of the major cast components supplier to commercial vehicle industry & tractor manufacturing industry.
The company is supplier of cast components to Ashok Leyland, Mahindra &, Mahindra, Tata Motors, Eicher, TAFE & Wartsila, Arvin Meritor etc.
The company has registered a growth of approx 12% in 2007-08 in turnover & more than 30% growth in net profit as compared to the previous year.
