Nelcast Cuts down production

According to Nelcast Ltd there has been increase in its inventories of cast components due to reduced production of Commercial Vehicles and Tractors. As a result the company has been forced to reduce its production of castings at its plants at Ponneri & Gudur.

The situation is likely to continue till there is pick up in demand of castings & demand for tractors & vehicles picks up substantially, the demands for the Company's Castings have come down substantially.
