Award for Atlas Foundry for Environment
Atlas foundry was awarded recently for its "commitment to environmental stewardship,"
Atlas Foundry is a manufacturer of grey-iron castings for several industrial, agricultural & construction equipments applications. The improvement in energy efficiency was achieved through improved lighting system supplied by Energy Management systems thereby reducing the emmissions by approx 170 MT per annum.
The CEO of Atlas Foundry expressed happiness for the recognition of its efforts & said, that the company was happy with the cost savings and the improved work environment for the employees.
According to David Riggle, EMS president, the resolve of Atlas Foundry to savinging energy and improving the working conditions for its employees has made the change possible by investments in energy efficient lighting & motion control sensors to swith on/off the lights as per requirement to save energy.
