KSU's Engg College invites proposals for Grants for Research on Corrosion
The Center of Excellence for Research in Engineering Materials (CEREM), set up by King Saud University's College of Engineering, is inviting proposals from researchers in the area of protection of metals and alloys against environmental pollution The announcement was made at the Seventh Saudi Engineering Council by the directorate of CEREM, which said it would provide grants for research.
CEREM will offer a grant of SR5,000 pm to the principal reaearcher & SR 4000/- pm to assistant researchers .50% of this grant will be paid after the research work is published in journals that appear in the International Science Index While the equipment procured under the programme out of this grant would be the property of CEREM
According to the college of engineering at KSU the emphasis of the engineering research program was on developing corrosion-proof.materials
Proposals can be forwarde to melkady@ksu.edu.sa by Dec. 31, 2007. Proposals in other areas of engineering will also be considered.
