According to statistics, India exported around 24,000 tons of pig iron in September, reducing by 56.2% compared to the previous month and also down by 32.8% from the same month a year ago. In the first nine months of this year, India’s pig iron exports amounted to nearly 420,000 tons, surging by 134.9% over the same period last year. Among them, the export volume to China was the largest with 382,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 1058.6%, accounting for 91.2% of the total; followed by Nepal’s 11,000 tons, accounting for 2.6%, a year-on-year increase of 13.8%.
